Frolic - Direct Output Adapter

The direct output adapter connects straight to the Frolic's oven and takes the cooling unit out of the picture. The vapour path becomes much shorter, giving a warmer, more concentrated draw. It is made from PEEK, stainless steel and silicone, with a mesh disc and seal rings already fitted.

It is designed primarily for connecting glass attachments. The adapter fits 14 mm and 18 mm water pipe joints as well as 16 mm glass stems, so most common pieces will take it. TinyMight-style stems fit too. With glass handling the cooling, the Frolic runs on a mostly-glass vapour path, which is the upgrade route for anyone who wants glass flavour from the oven onwards.

Water filtration is where this adapter makes the most sense, since the adapter alone has no long cooling path to soften the vapour. Bear in mind that adding glass makes the whole setup considerably larger, so this suits home use more than a coat pocket.
