This seal ring set replaces the ring at the Frolic's oven, the joint where the cooling unit meets the chamber. It is the seal that sees the most heat and the most handling, since it is compressed every time you lift the top section to load.
A fresh oven seal keeps the cooling unit sitting firmly in place with no vapour leaking at the joint. A light smear of silicone grease on this ring is also what makes a stiff cooling unit easy to lift, so it is worth having one on hand when the fit starts to feel loose or dry.
