Who is the Ispire Wand for?
The Wand by Ispire is a handheld induction heater with two distinct uses: it heats the caps of DynaVap vaporizers without a torch, and with its included borosilicate glass cups it also works on its own as a portable concentrate vaporizer. DynaVap themselves endorsed the pairing, and it remains one of the most popular ways to run a DynaVap flame-free.
It looks like a stout flashlight, works in the hand rather than on a desk, and replaces torch technique with a precise numeric setting: choose a temperature and the Wand reaches exactly that temperature every time.
A Temperature Instead of a Flame
Induction generates heat inside the metal cap itself rather than applying heat to its outer surface, so the heating is even all the way around and nothing but the cap gets hot. A torch creates hot spots and forces you to guess. The Wand instead gives you any temperature from 120°C to 425°C in 5-degree steps on a clear digital display.
That precision matters: you avoid heating too little or too much, you stop wasting material, and you get the same result every session. Consistent heat means consistent extraction, and owners report that each load lasts longer as a result.
Two Modes, One Button
Five clicks power it on. In automatic mode, a double-click runs a full cycle: the light pulses white while the metal heats, then stays lit continuously once your set temperature is reached, telling you it is time to inhale. In manual mode you hold the button and heat for exactly as long as you choose.
With a DynaVap, that means dropping the cap end into the chamber and lifting it out when you hear the cap click, with no lighter fluid, no flame indoors and no scorched cap edges. With the glass cups, the Wand heats its own cup for concentrate draws instead.
Batteries Included, and Replaceable
Two 2900 mAh 18650 batteries come in the box, and you slide them in through the base, and that replaceability matters more on an induction heater than on most devices: heaters place heavy demands on batteries, and being able to install a fresh pair years from now is what keeps the Wand usable long-term.
Charging runs over USB-C with pass-through, so you can keep using the device while it charges. A spare pair of Ampace JP30 or Eve 30P cells (sold separately) doubles how long you can use it between charges, and the Xtar X2 charges the spares outside the device.
Wand vs YLL 3.0
The YLL Induction Heater 3.0 is our other induction heater: a desk-standing unit with adjustable wattage and a timer, a larger coil, and the 100-watt output that bigger devices such as the Tempest 2 need.
The Wand is strong in the opposite areas: it is handheld and small enough to fit in a pocket, it heats by exact temperature rather than power, batteries come included, and the glass cups add a concentrate mode the YLL does not have. If you mainly use a DynaVap and want to take your gear with you, the Wand is the natural choice. If you use a Tempest 2, or keep several different devices on one desk, choose the YLL 3.0.
