These replacement screens are flat stainless steel filters that sit on the floor of the oven in your vaporizer. Each screen lies between the herbs and the vapour path, holding the ground material in place while air passes through freely during the draw.
After many sessions, the original screen collects resin and its tiny holes start to block, which makes the draw feel tighter and dulls the taste. Swapping in a fresh screen takes seconds during a normal cleaning and brings back an open draw and a cleaner taste from the first pull. Stainless steel handles hundreds of heat cycles, so each screen lasts a long time before it needs replacing again.
