The quartz balls replace the stock zirconia balls in the Tempest 2 cap. Quartz has the lowest fill weight (1.4 g) and thermal conductivity (3 W/m·K) of all available options, which means very fast heat-up and cool-down.
Quartz produces the quickest extraction cycles and works well for users who want short, flavour-focused hits. Each set contains enough 3 mm balls to fill one Tempest cap with some extra.
