Tempest - Silicon Carbide Balls

The silicon carbide balls replace the stock zirconia balls in the Tempest 2 cap. SiC has the highest thermal conductivity of all available ball materials at 120 W/m·K, which means heat transfers into the herbs very quickly.

SiC is lighter than zirconia, so it heats up faster and cools down sooner. This makes for quicker, more intense extraction cycles. Each set contains approximately 50 balls of 3 mm diameter, enough to fill one Tempest cap with some extra.
