The air filters are replacement intake filters for the Volcano Hybrid. These filters sit in a compartment at the bottom of the vaporizer and clean incoming air before it enters the heating path.
In practice, these filters rarely need replacing. Even after years of daily use, the difference is minimal. The pack is there as a spare for whenever you decide it is time.
