This plastic mouthpiece is the original V3 Pro style piece, and it fits the XMax V4 Pro as well. Inside sits a small ceramic airflow box that the vapour passes through before it reaches your lips.
At settings above 200°C the vapour arrives warm, and that little ceramic chamber takes some of the heat out of it. Owners with a sensitive throat get a gentler draw without needing water, which is useful when you are away from a water pipe. It also stands up to knocks better than glass, so it works well as the piece you carry.
