These stainless steel chamber screens sit at the bottom of the heating chamber, between the heating element and the herbs. The mesh holds the material clear of the element and protects the ceramic surface underneath, which keeps the vapour tasting clean.
After a number of sessions, resin works into the mesh and the draw begins to tighten. Isopropyl alcohol brings a screen back a few times, though a point comes where fitting a new one is quicker. With five in a pack you can change one as soon as airflow feels restricted, and airflow returns the moment it goes in.
